A consultation has opened on Lord Young’s recommendations for reporting workplace injuries, by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI).
APIL will respond to the paper, which sets out plans to amend RIDDOR by increasing the period after which a workplace injury must be reported to the enforcing authority, from three days to seven or more.
The association responded to the HSE consultation in England and Wales on the same subject in May this year.
