ISO expands with three new appointments

Insurance Services Office (ISO) Limited, the UK’s leading provider of personal injury claims solutions, has expanded its technical support capabilities as a result of significant growth in its customer base in 2009 and 2010.

ISO Claims Outcome Advisor (COA) is now the most widely used personal injury claims management system in the U.K. Seventy-five per cent of organisations using a personal injury claims evaluation system now use COA.

ISO has made three new appointments to its technical support and customer service capabilities: Jennifer Rees and Gail Worley have been appointed business analysts in the COA Client Services team, and Simon Dean was appointed to the Technical Support team as business analyst.

Jennifer Rees and Gail Worley both join from Zurich and have significant experience in handling higher-value personal injury claims. They also administered the company’s use of COA. In their new positions at ISO, their focus will be on customer service, including moving all customers to ISO’s recently enhanced COA solution and supporting ISO’s new bureau entry service. Simon Dean joins from Ageas Insurance, where he was a technical claims negotiator. Dean will work in the COA product development testing and technical support area.

ISO’s COA solution helps claims handlers, managers, and actuaries manage the unique and complex medical, legal, and occupational issues presented by personal injury claims. COA helps companies ensure appropriate financial arrangements are agreed to and implemented, promoting fairness and equity in all settlements.

Commenting on the new appointments, Justin Goodwin, operations manager at ISO, said: “High-quality customer service is what differentiates ISO from our competition. Instead of resting on our laurels after a busy 2009 and 2010, we are expanding our COA Services team to offer a dedicated point of contact for all our customers.”

“Jennifer, Gail, and Simon each have excellent experience in the insurance industry and join us as insurance professionals in their own right,” added Goodwin.

“They join the COA Client Services team dedicated to understanding our clients’ requirements, enabling clients to respond quickly and efficiently, and helping them to develop and achieve their own personal injury claims goals.”
