Goldsmith Williams Solicitors launches Motorbike Accident Service

National law firm Goldsmith Williams is set to launch the UK’s first Motorbike Accident Assistance and personal injury iPhone app providing users with instant access to a personal injury solicitor and full accident management service.

The launch coincides with the roll out of the Motorbike Assist accident service developed by Goldsmith Williams following extensive research into motorbike claims.

David Wearden, Managing Director of Motorbike Assist commenting on the launch said, “Accident involving bikers make up nearly 1% of all road traffic accidents and this figure is rising, on top of this statistic nearly 20% of all road deaths are from bike accidents. Part of our product and service when dealing with an accident is as much about safety as it is about making a claim, which is why our service is designed by bikers and run by bikers. We wanted to ensure that our clients have a completely hassle free experience”.

Goldsmith Williams’ have used their extensive knowledge and experience in personal injury claims to set a standard of customer services recognising that in their experience many bikers who have been involved in an accident are often unclear as to what to do at the time and what they should do next.

The ‘Motorbike Assist’ iPhone application and software developed by the IT Team at Goldsmith Williams specialist personal injury lawyers gives accident victims the ability to get instant advice and guidance including access to a specialist over the phone via the Goldsmith Williams call centre.

David Wearden, added, “Part of the launch of our service is the development of a tool that helps guide a claimant through every aspect of making a claim. Our 24/7 service is all about customer service and our accident management team can even provide replacement bikes anywhere in the UK within 24 hours, we feel our service and the soon to be launched iPhone app gives any biker instant comfort that someone is looking after them”.

When using the app, potential claimants can click ‘help’, enter all the details of the other party and all the accident details. The application then connects to the firms live 24-hour accident help system and downloads accident advice to their phones instantly or offers to call them. The injury app then assists a claimant to collect all necessary information through a unique and innovative user interface allowing individuals the ability to collect people and vehicle information, capture location details, capture photographs of the accident and accumulate any witness or accident information through a full multi media set of applications.

Simon Cottrell, Managing Partner at Goldsmith Williams added ” We are in talks with a number of interested insurers and brokers who see this as a valuable customer service application for their policy holders,

Once Goldsmith Williams have been instructed via the iPhone app or call centre, claimants can also track their case online and will arrange appointments for any medical reports or rehabilitation and send text up dates and reminders.

The Motorbike Assist application will be available for free on iTunes or the App store by searching for ‘Motorbike Assist’. From March 2011 and as a download on their website – http://www.motorbikeassist.com/
